The shape and size of the grain, for instance, are taken from the original films, so simulations are much more realistic than with Nik Collection. It helps photographers make analog photos more attractive. DxO FilmPack is based on measurements of real films using DxO Labs’ great expertise with image processing. This system is also capable of creating imagery with exceptionally smooth tonal transitions that are reminiscent of analog film capture,…” WidsMob FilmPack applies stunning analog photo filters for photos of digital cameras and smartphone. DxO FilmPack 6 (PC and Mac) is available now from the DxO online store at the following introductory prices until 14 November 2021. … the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution is designed to deliver images with the most natural color without needing to delve into a variety of presets.

I’ve yet to compare all three versions of Astia in the latest PhotoLab and FilmPack Elite software, but will keep exploring them with photographs made of a number of subjects under a range of weather, light and colours.Īnother of the many joys of those two DxO applications is their inclusion of camera sensor profiles that can be selected and used like film simulations, so I have added some of both to the gallery above.
